Class Types

Beginners Instructional

This player is just starting to play tennis

  • Never touched a racquet before
  • Needs to learn the fundamentals (NTRP Rating System)
Beginners Plus Instructional

This player has had limited experience with stroke development

  • Still working primarily on getting the ball into play
  • This player is not yet ready to compete (NTRP Rating System)
Advanced Beginners Instructional

This player needs on-court experience, with an emphasis on play

  • This player struggles to find an appropriate contact point, needs stroke development / lessons
  • Not yet familiar with basic positions for singles and doubles (NTRP Rating System)
Advanced Beginners Plus Instructional

This player is learning to judge where the oncoming ball is going and how much swing is needed to return it consistently. 

  • Movement to the ball and recovery are often not efficient
  • Can sustain a backcourt rally of slow pace with other players of similar ability
  • Beginning to develop strokes (NTRP Rating System)

LiveBall

Love playing tennis while getting a good sweat? You will love LiveBall!

  • LiveBall is different variations of doubles play
  • The Goal is to get on the Topside your partner by winning 2 out of 3 points!!
Cardio Tennis

Cardio Tennis is a high energy group fitness activity that combines the best features of the sport of tennis with cardiovascular exercise, using tennis drills and games to deliver the ultimate, full body, calorie burning aerobic workout. 

  • The Cardio Balls equalize the playing field and enhance the workout
  • It is a very social and fun class for players of all ability levels
Doubles Strategy

A 4-person class focused on winning doubles points. You'll work on moving with or without your partner, positioning, setting up your partner, and putting the ball away.

Stroke of the Week

A 4-6 person class featuring a different stroke each week. Covers forehand and placement, backhands, serves, volleys, and more.

Class Progression

The order in which classes are to be taken in, from Beginner to Advanced.
Lesson times are from 6pm - 7pm on their respective days.

Advanced Beginner

This player needs on-court experience, with an emphasis on play

Advanced Beginner Plus
